Countdown Widget Timer · Effective September 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Countdown Widget Timer ("Countdown" or the "App") handles information. The App is provided by APP BOX EOOD, UIC 207060361 ("App Box", "we", "us", or "our").

1. Information stored on your device

Countdown stores the information you create locally on your device and in the App Group container shared with its widgets and Apple Watch components. This may include:

Countdown does not require an account, and App Box does not receive your event titles or selected photos through an App Box server. Apple may include local App data in device backups according to your Apple and device-backup settings.

2. Optional device permissions

3. Analytics, diagnostics, advertising, and consent

The App uses Google User Messaging Platform to determine whether a privacy message is required and to store your consent choices. Google Mobile Ads may show ads to non-premium users after the platform reports that ads may be requested. Depending on your choices and region, Google may process advertising identifiers, IP-derived information, device information, ad interactions, and usage data for advertising, fraud prevention, measurement, and related purposes.

Firebase Analytics is disabled by default and is enabled only when the applicable consent state permits analytics collection. If enabled, it may process app interactions, device or installation identifiers, approximate technical information, and purchase events. Firebase Crashlytics may process crash reports, diagnostics, device model, operating-system version, App version, and technical identifiers so we can identify and fix reliability problems. We do not intentionally place event titles or your selected photos in analytics or crash reports.

Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. App Box receives entitlement and product-status information needed to unlock premium features but does not receive your full payment-card details.

Learn more in the Google Privacy Policy, Firebase Privacy information, and Apple Privacy Policy.

4. Your choices

You can decline optional permissions in iOS Settings. Where required, Countdown provides a Privacy Options control in its settings so you can review or change advertising and analytics consent. You can delete individual events and their backgrounds in the App. Removing the App deletes its local container subject to copies retained in your device backups.

5. Purposes and legal bases

We process information as needed to provide features you request, fulfill purchases, protect the App from abuse, and maintain reliability. Where law requires consent for analytics, personalized advertising, storage, or access to identifiers, we rely on your consent and you may withdraw it through the available privacy controls. We may otherwise rely on performance of our agreement, compliance with law, or our legitimate interests in operating and securing the App, subject to your rights.

6. Disclosure, transfers, and retention

We do not sell your locally created event content. Information may be processed by Apple and Google as described above, and may be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect users, our rights, or the security of the App. These providers may process information outside your country using the safeguards described in their policies.

Local data remains until you delete it or remove the App, subject to device backups. Third-party providers retain analytics, advertising, diagnostic, consent, and transaction information under their own retention policies and legal obligations.

7. Children

Countdown is a general-audience utility and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including Apple platform storage and transport protections. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, withdraw consent, or receive a portable copy of personal information. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. Contact us to exercise a right. We may need information to verify and fulfill your request; in many cases, App Box cannot identify local-only data that never leaves your device.

10. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the App, providers, or law. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required.
